Metric socket head screws are also known as socket head bolts or Allen heads, they can be either fully or partially threaded. They are externally threaded and have an internal hex drive that requires a hex key or Allen wrench to tighten or loosen. Socket head screws are commonly used in machine parts where the application either requires a counter-bored hole or above the surface mount depending on your needs. Socket head screws are available in 8.8 and 12.9 hardened steel as well as Stainless steel and Brass.
