Metric Carbon Steel Flat Washer
Metric carbon steel flat washers are the most commonly used washers with carbon screws, bolts and nuts. Washers can be used to increase the bearing surface in conjunction with a bolt and can also relieve the pressure being applied on the fastened object. They are often used to as spacers and or insulators depending on the application and Type A affords a broader tolerance where precision is not critical and Type B which has a tighter tolerance. Metric carbon fasteners are available in plain/black, zinc plated, Stainless steel A2 and A4, nylon and Brass.
