Metric Shoulder Screw
Metric shoulder screws are often called shoulder bolts or stripper bolts and can be considered mechanical fasteners. They have 3 sections, the head, the shoulder and the thread with the largest diameter of the screw being the shoulder directly under the head. This smooth shaft allows bolted material movement and rotation around the axis, while the threaded portion will keep the screw in place. Commonly used in applications where the holes are pre-drilled and require mounting pins, dowels, joints, shafts and or a sliding motions.
