Metric Internal Retaining Rings are also known as Snap rings or circlips. They are circular metal stamped spring steel rings, commonly used to hold components in place and prevent movement within an assembly. Internal Retaining rings are used inside a round housing with groove and installed using ring pliers. They reduce vibration and keep parts in place within the assembly.
